As part of your membership with Community Housing Industry Association Victoria (CHIA Vic), an Employee Assistance Program is available for all your employees. The company we have partnered with is Acacia EAP. Acacia EAP operates 24 hours a day to be available to assist employees.
An Employee Assistance Program is a confidential counselling and support service to help employees deal with personal or work-related problems in a positive way. The EAP involves short term counselling of up to 3 sessions of counselling per employee and per immediate family members per year.
Under the Privacy Act (1988), the services are completely private and confidential.
